Parallel Worlds is the stunning international debut solo album from Simone Fiorletta, guitarist of Italian Progressive Power Metal sensations Moonlight Comedy.
Born in February 1982, Simone first tasted music with piano lessons at the age of 7, from this young age he studied the classic works of Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin. However, Simone then realised that his true love lied with the guitar and became inspired by the works of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and particularly Neil Zaza of whom Simone had the honour of supporting at age 19.
At the age of 17 Simone Fiorletta formed the aforementioned Moonlight Comedy who released the album ‘The Life Inside’ in 2004 on Lion Music. This release gained worldwide acclaim which proclaimed a fresh sound in the genre and Simone started to gain a reputation for being an impressive guitarist with music fans and critics alike. In the same year Simone also released a solo album “The Beginning” independently in Italy. Work then became on the tracks which would make up Parallel Worlds.
Parallel Worlds showcases Simone’s own distinctive technical yet soulful style and is sure to bring his name to a wider audience.
